Balance Sheet Manager (BSM) is an optional module that can be added to FIMAC Solutions Risk Analytics ALM Model that gives you a quick, powerful, and accurate measurement of the impact balance sheet management decisions will have, before they are implemented! Any number of "what-if" scenarios can be run on the user's own PC with the Balance Sheet Manager Windows based software. Make better decisions by knowing in advance the impact to earnings, equity, and exposure to changes in interest rates. Use it for NII and PVE stress testing too!
BSM users upload a new data set for use in the Balance Sheet Manager software each time they update the interest rate risk report. This data set will include all current balance sheet, cash flow, market rate, an securities information. This allows the immediate creating of desired "what-if" scenarios. Create as many different scenarios as you wish, and save those you wish to review at a later date. This ability will help greatly in the planning and decision-making process.
